What a fascinating “deep dive” into the subject matter of this seal, Parveen.In fact, I’d just recently been asking a friend from Rohri about the seven satis and now you have addressed the topic very thoroughly.It always amazes me that a tiny piece of carved stone can hold so much art and culture.Happy New Year 2023!

I read all your 8 blogs, and just now finished, ‘ The Intriguing Tale of the Seven Women of Mohen-jo-daro.’ It is a true example of the combination of writer, historian and archeologist- one feels the ‘how-ness of the story’, and notices ‘what-ness, what happened’. I was mesmerized – what a flow and rhythm ~ a chiffon of ideas weaved with folklore, history and archeology was unfolded before me~ truly artistic.

I read all your 8 blogs, and just now finished, ‘The Intriguing Tale of the Seven Women of Mohen-jo-daro.’ It is a true example of the combination of writer, historian and archeologist- one feels the ‘how-ness of the story’, and notices ‘what-ness, what happened’. Its flow and rhythm mesmerized me ~ I felt like a folded stack of a chiffon made up from the elements of folklore, history and archeology is spread before me ~ truly artistic article.
